Welcoming 2010

Here are photos taken on the bbq night, the eve of new year, to share.

The party supposely start at 7pm. Though we arrived only about 7:40ish, we are still the earliest. Must try harder to be late next time. Always reminded myself that. But always ended up be early somehow. I know I have to be punctual and all that shit... but I guess I've to go in-sync with our local cultural and practise our local lifestyle by following the 'malaysian-time' system which is at least an hour later than the stipulated time. No point getting all agitated from waiting. Correct?

There were plenty of food - chicken wings, fish, lamb, prawns and etc. This one here was prepared by yours truly. Sausage kebab. :p

We had fun bbq-ing while chatting away. It was nice.
The idea of having the bbq party at Alex's workshop was a great choice. The place is well equipped with a variety of tools suitable for a bbq party. Huge oil barrel as bbq pit, air gun for easy burning of charcoal and so forth. ;) Real convenient.

We even had a projector set up to project a slide show of the photos taken during our recent trip to Awana Kijal. Something different to the otherwise mundane routine of tokkok, singsong, eat & laugh... now, we have visual entertainment too... more laughters :D

Everyone had a good laugh on their antics caught on camera. It was hillarious. As for me, I am glad they like and enjoyed the photos.

This is how the air gun works. Easy peasy right? No need to fan until your arm drop off and the charcoal still not burning yet... lols

Come midnight, a fellow Altezzarian tried to ambush Alex (this guy in this pic) with a bottle of champagne..
but unfortunately, was ambushed in return with a bottle of Sprite instead. Lols... All I know was, we wasted half a bottle of good champagne and half a bottle of lousy Sprite.

The atmosphere was nice... really nice. Everyone wishing each other happy new year...

What a good way to end a year and start another. May the rest of the year be equally good if not better.

Wow! What a different way to welcome the new year - BBQ in a car workshop! Did the food taste especially good - with the air gun and oil barrel? :)

Yeah... wow..! When the company is great, however bad the food is will also taste yummy! Agree not?
