Yep, It Was Indeed A Brilliant Night :)

Sorry for the delay of this update.  I know you guys must be waiting for it.  I've been so busy with work stuff these past weeks.  Was busy organising & coordinating an offsite meeting event for half of our department which took place just yesterday and today.  All I can tell you is, it was SPLENDID, AWESOME, SUPER and of course I gonna blog about it.  Sometime soon I hope. Meanwhile, let's just get to the performance we did.

I somehow managed to get thru my anxiety on that Friday night (erm, two Fridays ago?)  rehearsing at Modesto.  Come Saturday, I was all cool and good.  :)  As our event was at night, it was hilarious seeing my team mates counting down the hours in our private FB group.  Suddenly, we were all so free.  I guess all were nervous and  seeking out each other for comfort!  Lols....
This is us, Team Monday, all dolled up.  I call us the sluts and that was actually a pretty polite term as compared to the words coming out from Alina.  She just yelled out to Pat (our instructor), "Pat...!  Your prostitutes are all ready!" o.O  WtF?!

Met up with the girls from our team at the studio for a quick bite before working on our make-up.  We had so much fun along the process.  The smokey eyes didn't turned out quite as what we have in mind, fake lashes doesn't seems to stay in place... hehehe... getting into those corsets were even funnier when we tried to push up as much boobies as possible.  Hahaha...  In the midst of total choaticness, some of us even tried to put on the net stocking while still having our shorts on.  Lols...I tell you, it was total madness.

Despite of everything, we still managed to get to Modesto on time.  Picture above is Team Wednesday who will be doing the Jive, Modern, Cha Cha, Merengue & Salsa Medley.  Their theme was all sailor/nautical...  Totally opposite from our slutty/prostitutes/cabaret theme.  Lols... So decent!  hahaha...
Our team did the Paso Doble, Hip Hop, Modern, Bachata & Salsa Medley which lasted about 7-8 minutes.  I had so much fun that night.  All anxieties prior to Friday suddenly just melted away with the rehearsal.  Thank God.  Otherwise, I am not sure I would even flip.
This is the flip that I have been talking about in my past few entries.  The one with the crooked leg at the back was me.  I still couldn't quite get the whole methodology into my brain.  I always have the tendency to bend my legs.  If I remember to hold my breath, I would forgot to kick.  Or if i remember to kick and hold my breath, I would forgot to straighten my legs.  Lols... sigh....  Nevertheless, we got it pretty in sync this time round.  I was quite impressed actually looking at the video.  For once, we flipped and land at the same time.  Amazing. :)
Not only that, we managed to end at the same time too.  The applause were ear shattering.  Seriously, I have a feeling it was more for the outfit than the performance.  Right?  Right?!  Those super short mini skirts, net stockings, corsets..... hahahahaha.....
It took us almost a year to put everything together.  When we were at it practising day in day out, it was so exhausting and can't wait for it to be over and done with.  It was worst for the last two weeks when we were practicing every night from 9 - 11:30pm.  Work, dance, work, dance.  It was even worst for me since I also got a life! You should know by now :p Work, dance, play, socializing, traveling, dinners.  Now that it is finally over, no more daily practice, it somehow felt something is missing.  :p  Suddenly not sure what to do at 9pm.  Hahahaha....
Remember a long time ago when all these dance practices just started and I mentioned that we will be trained for a performance which we will be audited?  Some sort of audition to get into the Ritmo Dance Team?  Well, we were all called back to the studio for a meeting last Wednesday and yours truly is now officially a Ritmo Dancer.  :)

It was a mixed feeling.  A part of me wishes to be in.  Another part of me wishes otherwise.  Wishes to be in cause I love that team spirit.  Love being a part of something.  Love my Ritmo family which I've grown so close these past few months.  For the otherwise, it was most because of the time & effort involved as well as how things will go all crazy when the stress level is high.

Anyway for time being, since I am in, I'll just do what I can and enjoy it along the process. :)

Out of breath, needed Air Supply.

I was a little lazy to update blog as I don't know where to start.  I should have started with Beijing but then again, I am still seeing stars with the thousands of photos and again, I don't know where to start from there. Lols....
This past week (since last Fri) has been anything but mundane.  Joined the MRS group at Prinz (owned by another fellow MRS-ian) to celebrate a belated birthday for a member and a farewell for another who will be leaving us for Penang.  Hubby and I were just there for a short while and from photos plastered all over FB the next day, can tell that a big majority got 'wasted' towards the end of the night.  This is one car group that not only does car stuff together, but makan-makan (food), Baskin Robbin ice cream nights, runs, charity and latest I read, kick boxing too.  *thumbs up* ;)
Two weekends ago, while we were away for holiday, the salsa people had their Halloween Party :(.  So last Saturday, we make it a point to be there to celebrate the 1st Salsa Caliente Annivesary.  It was a blast in Modesto!  We had so much fun salsa-ing, bachata-ing & merengue-ing away on the dance floor for three and a half hour straight (the husband woke up to a backache the next morning...lols... over shook his bon bon!).  Can you spot me in the sea of red?
Some crazy photos from Alina's camera taken with friends.  Can see everyone was drenched in sweat from all the dancing.  When this photo was taken, I was already into my second top.  The theme was red and black.  My first top was black.  :p
And one of Alina & me.  I told her I like this photo very much.  Her boobs cover half of my body thus making me look slimmer.  Hahahaha...  Nolar... actually, I thought her dress were rather pretty!  Yeah, really, it is the dress.  Not the slimmer me. :p
Next day, with the aching back (the husband), we joined some friends to Ti-Ratana for the handing over of gifts to the kids under the  'Gold Ribbon Campaign: Grant A Wish on Universal Children's Day'.  I thought it was just a simple event where we drop by, hand the gifts to the kids and chit chat a little.  It turned out to be more than that.   There were even performances from the kid *so cute*!
I was rather horrified when I found out that we have to hand the gifts on stage *faint*.  Both kids that we have picked were not present to collect their gifts that day :( .  One was down with fever and the other one was helping out in the setting up of a Deepavali event. Representatives collected on their behalf.  Nevertheless, we hope they like what we have picked out for them.
This little boy was smiling from ear to ear upon receiving his gifts.  :)  It is smiles like these that makes the effort worth while.  You can practically see all the kids went ballistic as they opened up their presents.  Hehehe.... The husband and I agreed that we shall do it again come next year. :)
With so much activities, we were naturally out of breath and needed some air supply... hehehe... So, it was Air Supply on Monday night with Florence.  Neither of us is a big fan.  We don't hate them nor love them.  We know we listen to them but couldn't quite pinpoint exactly which songs they sang.  We decided to go for it anyway and didn't regret the decisions a single bit.  As it turned out, we know quite lots of their songs. ;)  Though just the two of us, we had so much fun grooving to 'Lost In Love', 'Making Love Out Of Nothing At All', 'Goodbye' and many more... I never quite understood the idea of going to a concert but I think I am getting a hang of it and pretty enjoyed it too.  I guess, at the end of the day, it is the company that matters.  We both agreed that the next one would be Jay Chou's.  ;)
I was coincidentally in MidValley on Tuesday when tickets for Harry Potter's Deathly Hallows were opened for sale.  Really, I didn't camp overnight there for the tickets lols...  Splurged on the husband's monies and got ourselves 2 gold class tickets for Wednesday (yesterday).  We have both agreed a long time ago that we should pampered ourselves with the comfort gold class' have to offer once a month or whenever there are good movies that's worth the splurge.  We enjoyed Deathly Hallows immensely though it was a much much shorter version as compared to the book.  Now I can't wait till next year for the final part... *patient.... *
Got home after the movie and quickly got ready for the party that night.  Though it was supposed to be a belated Halloween Pyjamas Party, it looks more like a pyjamas party than a Halloween except for of course that bowl of worm jello (which turned out rather gross towards the night) and pumpkin candy prepared by yours truly.  hehehe...
As usual, we have too much food - sweet & sour crabs and salted egg crabs from Penny, roasted duck from Florence, tidbits from Caren, Taiwanese crispy chicken and some chicken floss rolls from Derek, green tea cake from WaiKong, fruits from Jason and etc... BUT, we still managed to finished 90% of it.  Unbelievable but true.  Not forgetting all the drinks too - Baileys, Remy Martin, Hennessy and don't know what else...
I swear I only had a tiny weeny glass of Bailey's.  Yeah, I know, so not me.  But I just don't feel like drinking much last night. Imagine I am already like that with one small glass.  What would happen if I have more?  Lols... Not hard to imagine eh?  Hehehehe...  Probably would end up with more than one mole.  Lols...
We supposed to watch 'Paranormal' but ended up watching some really gross out show - The Piranhas.  Bloody.  Very bloody.  Limbless, dick-less, boobies-less, head-less.... Ewwwww.....  Overall, it was good as usual.  But I think we have lots of room for improvement when come to 'theme' night.  I myself didn't really try hard enough.  Found this old pyjamas which was used for the 'hair combing' ceremony when we got married two over years ago.  It is also the first time in my entire life I tied my hair in two pony tails.  Plus the mole and the extra red cheeks, I thought I look a little like some female ghost out of some chinese horror...that is if I just look somber.  But with that silly face, I think I look more like some mental asylum runaway... lols...
And as I was sitting here blogging out all the happenings, this fella simply dived head down into my coffee.  Where did all these flies came from all of a sudden???!  Hmm... I think I really did swallowed one the other time *blek* Damn flies.  Go die.

With a blink of an eye, it's already Thursday.  Weekend is here again.  Have some plans for weekend but I can't recall them for time being.  And it is already November too.  In slightly more than a month, it will be Christmas, then new year, then Chinese New Year.  Goodness me... whatever happened to 2010???!  Did it actually exists?

A Gist Of Everything Last Week

There are so much to do these days and I hardly have much time to sit down, organize my brain and blog.   I gonna just sum everything up.

The Accidental Agent
I recently decided to join a Unit Trust team to gain more knowledge on my own investment.  I am never a finance/investment person to start with.  It usually takes me longer time to decipher financial stuff.  That's why this decision.  Knowledge gaining.  And, I accidentally passed my Unit Trust exam two weeks ago after attending a one day course.  Accidentally cause I wasn't prepared.  On the morning of the exam, of the 6 sample exam sheets that I have, 50% of the one sample sheet I picked to revise on came out in the exam.  The 'lucky' wind must be blowing my direction lately.  First I got the walkman I wanted for free.  And now, the passing of this exam.  :)  Believe it not, I am now an official Unit Trust Agent.  Lols...
Dance class
Participated a new class on Monday night which I somehow always conveniently forgets throughout the day (to the extend of planning what I wanna do that night, movies, or shopping) until I was on my way home from work in the evening, it will suddenly dawn on me and I'll go "Oh shoot...!".  Haven't quite implanted it in the system yet despite of having attended it for the last 3 weeks. :p  What's happening?!
Morning JogAWalk
Our 3x weekly jogawalk started about a month ago has been reduced to just once weekly for the past week and this week.  Past week cause my legs were aching from a new dance I was trying to master and this week cause of the damn flu bug. :(  I actually went for it yesterday morning hoping it will chase the bugs away.  I always have this strange notion that, as long as I keep working, the lethargic-ness will go away.  Sickness will cure.  Unfortunately, it was just wistful thinking on my part.  It actually got worst.  For the whole of yesterday, the only picture that kept popping up in my mind was this 'battery low' icon.  I actually fell asleep on the couch while watching tv.  My batt must be really low.  Finally depleted after so much activities for the past month.  Quite lasting also....
Mambo Jambo-ing
As it has been quite sometime since we last went clubbing (7 months ago), it was time for us to head down to Zouk again to make our presents felt and we did just that last Wednesday.  The excuse was to celebrate our 10.10.10 run.  Yeah, it's lame I know.  Just another excuse to party and drink.  Hahaha.... Despite of the not-so-good crowd, we had a great time & got home only at 3:30am!  Lols.  Not-so-good crowd was because, on the few times that we were there, we actually have bouncers protecting us from all the attentions we had; people buying us drinks, people wanting to dance with us.  That Wed, we didn't get much attention cause the club was filled with gays from an earlier event nearby. :(  So, it was sort of boring la... what to do? We love attention.  We feed on it.  Our way of evaluating our market value.  Our confident booster... hahahaha.... Agree?

Car Workshop & Women
Being an 'ok' automobile-savy girl, I was awoken by a phone call from Flor the next morning after the night out.  Still feeling rather groggy, all I heard was, is it ok to pay RM3k+ for the repair of 2 doors (auto lock  & power window mechanism), a steering wheels plus a brand new stereo?  I was like... wtf?  Overhauling a whole van cost only RM3k and this few things cost RM3k??!  In the end, had her sent the car to our regular workshop and in total, it cost her only RM1.3k.  Should have been able to save more if she have not felt obligated to let the first workshop fix something which cost her RM600+.  Typical daylight robbery.  I really hate all these car workshops/accessories shop.  I think when they see us women driver coming into the shop, all they see is just $$$$$.  Ask any 10 ladies and I bet 9 out of that have experience this.  They are suppose to help us.  Not take advantage of our ignorance.  Tsk tsk! How many of you ladies out there experience an episode with these dishonest workshops?
Horror Flicks
After picking Flor from the workshop, she convinced me to watch this horror flick called 'Child's Eye'.  Having not watch a horror movies since dunno when, I was actually kinda excited despite of my reluctance.  Throughout the movie, 80% of the time, I was hiding behind my shawl.  I tell you, when I went to bed that night, I was already imagining things and spooking myself out.  Lols... I am super useless when come to things like these. Hehehehe... despite of shielding my eyes with a shawl, I can still see shapes thru it ok...lols...  Can't see it's eyes, nose or any facial expression.  Still, it freaks me out.  :p  At one part, Flor went "just look at the dog, so cute cute one, not scary one"... yeah, the dog may be cute cute and not scary, but the dog is barking at the spirit ok...lols *faint*
Went for an early dinner at Italianese after that cause we couldn't resist the delicious smell when we walk pass it.  Found ourselves a nice table with a good view, ordered two latte and a classic pizza!  Blissful. At least it calms the nerves a little after the first self imposed torturing ordeal. :p

Ex-Schoolmates Gathering
From 4 confirmed pax, it became 3, then 2.  Lols...  Went ahead somehow cause personally I prefer smaller group gathering.  At least I get a chance to really talk to that person.  Coincidentally both of us left office early and decided to meet up at a karaoke nearby to enjoy their happy hour rates singing our hearts out (RM18++ per pax for 3 hours) before heading out for dinner.  It was a good stress reliever (not that I am very stressful or what... nevertheless, it is good to scream our lungs out every now and then.  Hehehe...  Eventhough it was just the two of us, we had a great time!
Car Outing
The husband had a car outing on Saturday, having nothing else to do, I decided to tag along.  The weather was crazy hot that day.  In fact, everyday for the past forever has been hot.  Sometimes, I am not even sure if it is me that is having fever or just the weather that's making me feel hot.  The outing was quite a bored.  But luckily met some other friends who were from my car group.  Not too bad. :)  I tell you, all these car outing are pretty lame actually.  All they do is just meet up at a place, go for a drink nearby, then proceed to checking out each other's car.  The thing is, what is there to see?  All cars have 4 wheels, no?  All cars have engine no? Sigh....  Didn't bring my camera.  Shot with my mobile instead.  The light from the sun setting was too beautiful to resist.  It turned out ok.  Love this pic.

Salsaing @ Modesto
As usual, we try to make it to Modesto on Saturdays for some salsa. It was a little packed that evening.  Plus the hot weather, after couple of dances, we were practically drowning in our own sweat.  Drenched thru our undies.  The weather was that hot.  I gonna so bring extra shirts for change next time.  Gonna throw out the dresses.  It gonna be just jeans and tshirt and tshirt and tshirt...

The Day I Got The Bug
When I woke up on Sunday morning, I knew I've caught the virus from the husband.  My throat was not feeling too good  *sigh*.  I've already warned him not to pass whatever he got to me cause I am too busy to be sick.  And guess what he said?  He said... "love me, love my virus.". wtf? -.-  I made him repair a handheld battery operated fan for me as a punishment for spreading his virus to me.  :p  I know it is unreasonable, but I don't care.  >:-(

Am glad I finally feeling much better now *fingers + toes crossed*.  Kept popping pills every 4 hours.  Need to get well as soon as I can for I am due for another adventure in 5 days time.  Can't afford to be stopped for H1N1.

And here you have it, a gist of everything last week. Goodnight!

A Birthday Celebration = Another Excuse to Go Gila (Mad)

Last Saturday was a great fanfare.  We basically took up the whole Brussel Beer Cafe in Menara Hap Seng Kuala Lumpur.  Stylo le... No, not because there were a hundred of us.  But it was because their KL's outlet were simply deserted on a Saturday night!
We basically have the whole place to ourselves to celebrate the birthday of a fellow Deliquenos, Mr Derek!  We can laugh loud loud, talk loud loud, scream loud loud, curse loud loud complete with international hand signs, jump high high, do a little skip here and there, run around naked for all we care, nobody would bat even an eyelid.  Alright, not the naked part.
There were only 8 of us.  But the amount of noise that we created... can match those from the pasar malam (night market).  Only when we were leaving we realized how quiet the place was.  Too engrossed  with each other's company and talking all at once.
Some of us had the Hoegaarden.  Some, the Stella Artois and some, Leffe Blonde.  And yours truly, always prefer the Leffe Brune - lighter than stout, thicker than beer.  Just right for my taste buds!  Only ordered half pint for myself.  No time to drink.  Need to salvage more time to tokkok singsong and blast myself away with laughters and fun!
We, the girls, with the birthday boy.  All those smiles, can't remember what we were talking about though.   There were supposed to be 2 more girls, unfortunately, once again, unforeseen circumstances.  Seems to have lots of unforeseen circumstances popping up these days.  It must be in season!
We had, of course Brussel's MUST HAVE, and that is,  the Brussel's Pork Knuckle!  It was yummy.  Crispy on the outside, tender & juicy on the inside! Succulent!
Their week's special (I think), meatballs in cream sauce.  Equally perfectly done.
Also a Beer Food Platter - mixture of calamari, chips, sausages which turned out looking rather obscene...  the girls & boys had fun joking and playing with it! Lols...
And some greens too.   Mommi said must eat plenty of vegetables!  Simple yet refreshing.  That evening was the first time in my life I had so much capsicums. I basically walloped all.  They actually tasted sweet unlike the typical bitter taste most had.
Derek and I still trying to figure out what was the fingers pointing all about?  Wonder what were we talking about or arguing about until Florence laughed till like that.  I am sure it has totally nothing to do with WaiKong since he is the only one standing up and toasting to don't know what...
We also took the opportunity to present 'house warming' gifts to 3 of our other fellow Deliquenos who recently shifted into their new homes.  The 'GIFTS' was actually secret project undertaken by Derek, Florence & myself on behalf of the group.  The purpose?  To surprise them and moved them to tears!  Lols... For Penny, we combed thru hundreds of photos, finalized on this one and had it framed beautifully.  It turned out pretty awesome.  Classic & nice!  Love it!
As for Jason, a little bird told us that he have a 'salsa corner' in his new home.  So, for a salsaholic, we decided to do a painting for him.  Hand-painted ok.  No joke.  Pretty good job eh?  We were actually fretting out that he may not like it yet felt obligated to hang it up. So we went like "It's ok if you don't wanna hang it up". One look at it he went... "Eh, I also wear white pants like that le..." and the three of us went... "Uhuh... that's why we painted it white".  His reply was.. "You all painted this o.O ?!!" Lols...!  He LOVES it!  Seriously, even if he don't like it, it is ok.  I still think we did a GREAT job!!  The whole process was rather 'interesting' but I'll only blog about it on the next entry.

As for Caren who didn't make it to the party that evening, good in a way too cause we haven't got the present ready actually, :p  out of inspiration.  But thanks to her absence, now we have an INSPIRATION!   Just have to find time to execute it! :D
As usual, all lead back to more salsa.  We stepped into our bling-bling dancing shoes and headed down to Modesto nearby to salsa the night away.
A friend who missed us at Brussel, came to join us in Modesto instead.  That's the spirit my friend!
Other than salsa, there were bachata too.  What is Bachata you asked?  Well, in my simple words it would be a kind of hip swaying dance which look best if you dance intimately with your partner.  By the word 'intimately', I only meant close together, body touching body. NOT to the extend of having sex on the dance floor. :p  Really, very very nice dance!  Try 'youtube' it and see.  ;)
Here are two that never fail to enjoy themselves immensely whenever they went mad salsa-ing on the dance floor.  Always love to catch them on candid whenever they are dancing away.  Guaranteed good shots with those beautiful smiles!
Girls spinning and spinning, guys leading and leading... everybody enjoying themselves to the beats of the latino!
At the end of it, we were all sweaty and oily.  Lols... good exercise!
Went a little mad with the camera too.  I tell you arr, nowadays arr,  whenever a camera is in sight, have to make sure (1) face tilted on best angle, (2) tummy tucked in, (3) chubby cheeks sucked in, (4) flabby arms HIDE!  Hahahaha... So when you see me turning out quite alright in a photo, just remember there were a lot of hard works ok....hehehehehe..
I think this one was taken while we were all high from endorphins.  Overdosed more like it.  Lols...  Ok lah... still very sexy and pretty... ahem ahem!  hahaahaha...

We had such an awesome evening that Saturday.  Till today, 5 days later, comments are still flying all over those photos posted on FB.  Still poking fun at each other, teasing & cursing.  An obvious sign of another good hangout!
So, to our friend Derek, who is a year wiser now (he say cannot tell his age one...),

We are wishing you another year
of laughter, joy and fun
surprises, love and happiness.

And when your birthday is done,
as your birthdays come and go,
how very much you mean to us,
more than you can know.

My First Treasure Hunt Experience

I don't usually update my 'status' on FB, but when I got back from the hunt on Sunday evening, I simply HAVE TO.
After being stuck in our batmobile for 8 hours cracking and hunting down 35 horrendously mad cryptic questions, I even speaks in a little rhyme now. Lols...
Had so much fun and I was practically like that throughout the trip - like a mad woman with smeared mascara!

When I got home that day, realised not only were my body aches from...

1) all the running around under scorching hot sun trying to make sense out of hundreds of signages;
2) all the salsa-ing at night;
3) all the exercises prior to the trip,

... my jaw and throat were sort of sore to the max too - a result of talking and laughing too much  :p
Our team gathered on Saturday morning in the huge carpark of Monash U for flagging off.  Red colour + SUPERHERO stickers were for the team spirit!   I called our team the 'Superhorrors' :p

The highlights of the hunt I would say will be the following...

1) The company
2) The company
3) and still is the company.

We had so much fun cracking the riddles.  With a bunch of crazy people, we get all sort of answers.  We had everything - creativity, innovative, originality... you name it, we have it.

Questions
3) Sounds like a cat with the king in hiding. - Kamunting @ Pasaraya Grand Union  (don't ask me how...)
24) Sounds like business against profits. - Shanghai Reflexology Sanctuary Sdn Bhd (correct answer: Kedai Ban On Thong - 'Ban Untung') *faint*

Like that la.... how la to answer?!

We were all boo-ing so loudly that night at the dinner when the answers were revealed and the organiser were enjoying every minute of it.  Our team got only 8 correct answers out of 35 questions; a score of 16/100!  Lols...  To tell you the truth, our aim was to be first counting backwards. I would say we came quite close to it... *ahem*.  Not bad not bad...
The most clueless part of all was not the riddles, but there were actually people who are able to solve  it with a fantastic score of 90/100!  - We all agreed that they are just nerds (sore looser talks).
Now that we have a rough understanding of how it actually works, we are pretty confident that we gonna do much better next year.  For all you know, we might create a new history in Atmah's treasure hunt! - "First Time Ever... HOT Looking Winners!" with the song 'Don't you wish your girlfriend was hot like me...' playing in the background.
That day, all signages became a possible answer to us.  We got this one right!  The riddle was, "Your little finger served here I’m told." -->  Little finger = pinky.  Served = a restaurant.
And this, was later part of our hunt where we were rushing for time.  We simply whipped out our cameras and went trigger happy.  We review them only when we are enroute to another destination to save time.

This one we got here was actually an answer to one of those mad questions.  It says... "Top gear back for a quick runner.". --> Top gear = HAT.  Top gear back = TAH.  A quick runner = CHEE+TAH (cheetah).  Of course we didn't get it right... lols... pening le...
The cryptic riddles with all possible answer sribbled, all clues underlined.  Still... we only got 8 rights.
We were all running around like a headless chicken looking for answers without knowing what or where to find.  This dude here, Andy, even got time to pose for photo somemore.  No wonder their team scored only  12/100 (Euveng).  Busy checking out hot babes!
When we got to Bidor, we pullover for lunch at their famous Duck Noodle - kononnya.
It was seriously NOT yummy.  According to Derek, a member of our SuperHorror team, an Ipoh mari, he said it used to taste superb.  Totally different from now.
Jason, the bapa ayam of our team, trying to act out his dissatisfaction to that bowl of Duck Noodle for my blog.  I thought he look more sissy than dissatisfied.
Bunches of petai sold outside the kopitiam.
Generation-Y Petai Seller (the butt crack depicts the character Y) - As we were waiting for our food, the petai seller bend right in front of us at the opposite table... all four of us went like... o.O + o.O + o.O + o.O.  Hmm... maybe Y is one of the answer to our riddles?!?  Hehehe...

The hunt was divided into two parts.  Part 1 consists of Question 1 -15 through Bukit Beruntung-Kuala Kubu Baru-Tanjung Malim which we submitted the answer at Midpoint in Tanjung Malim's R&R before 12:30noon.  Part two was for Question 16-35, through Bidor-Kampar-Simpang Pulai and submitted at Simpang Pulai right before we head up the hill at 4:30pm.  I tell you, at the submission point, we were like main tikam only.  Simply la... "Ours to be very first recent disaster." - Answer: Perniagaan Tay Soon. :p  Why?  Don't know.
The drive up the highlands was a pleasant one.  The air was fresh and nice.  Got to Equatorial at 6pm, checked in and this the view from our balcony!
We took quick showers, changed and make-up a bit, even managed to camwhored a little before rushing down to the awaiting dinner in the ballroom.
The dinner function was really nice.  We had a long stretched of buffet line served all night, on-the-spot quizzes, performances, revelation of the treasure hunt's answers plus boo-ing session and lastly, prize presentation.
That's I-Yin, one of the sifus in Dance Spirit doing a performance at the dinner.
Power le...
After the performances, sifu (Fasilito) lead a group to basic salsa steps. Everyone did really great!
Thumbs up to the DS's performance team!  Good job guys!
After the dinner, while waiting for the Cricket Lounge to be ready for our private salsa party, had a game of pool with some friends.  It took us forever to finish the game.  What to do...  we are only good at dancing... not so good at playing balls.
It's SALSA time after the pool... we had so much fun that night dancing away to latino tunes. That's Jason & Ann doing all the canggih monggih style.  Nice nya.... when la I can dance till like that?
 That's Evo & Jeannie.
That's Florence and Waikong.  They sure had hell of a good time.  I bet you can tell from the BIG SMILES!
Halfway thru, some of us decided that they wanna tried some different stunts and began to jump around.  It was hilarious seeing how these photos turned out to be.  It feel so much like a movie poster....
"COMING SOON.  KUNGFU SALSA.  Opening in Sept 2011".

Florence, Derek and I ditched the party at about 1:30am and decided to drive downtown for some ICE for that Vodka and Hennessy we brought from home.  The drive out was rather eerie - misty, wet and dark + 7th month.  You know, a perfect setting for horror movie.  We went anyway.  I guess we were just TOO thirsty!
Back in the hotel, after our mee-in-my-mug supper, we kicked start our drinking session.  A new member, Andy, from Generation-Y (the younger salseros) joined us.  We had so much fun tok kok sing song that night.  I know I had fun!
You wouldn't believe what we were doing at 5:30am in the bathroom.  We were actually filtering the cognag from pieces of broken cork using a teabag.
The whole process was crazy.  We laughed so much.  Not that we drank a lot.  I guess the lack of sleep + a little bit of vodka + salsa does makes people go mad a little.  The strangest part was, we still have the brain to think.  A teabag?  That's so ingenious!  I called us the McGyvers!  Lols...  Like I said, thirsty.  Not just any thirsty.  SUPER thirsty!  Lols...

Andy : "Ok, now we have to think of how to cork the cognag since it's cork is broken."
Me: "Easy.  Just pour them into the empty vodka bottle."
Andy: "The vodka bottle is just 75ml and this is 1L"
Me: "Lagi easy.  We just finish the 25ml.  Case close."
Andy: "Ahhhh......"

Naturally, Florence and I missed breakfast.  Lols.  Who needs breakfast when we already had them at 6am!  Lols... When the rest of the gang asked, we told them we had breakfast with the muslims at Sahur.  :p
Checked out at about 12 noon.  Took one for the album with Sifu, Florence, yours truly and Andy (R to L) at the entrance of Equatorial.
While we were waiting for our car, saw this antique blue taxi pull up to the hotel.  I thought it was rather cool!
With an additional 100 cars in Cameron for that Treasure Hunt, it was no wonder the traffic look like this on way to Boh Tea Plantation.  Bumper to bumper crawl.  The farmers in Cameron must have been cursing us!

From the dinner, I learned that this time round, out of that 100 cars, 10 was us, the salseros!  *big applause*
In this picture, actually I was aiming for the hill.  Spotted rays of sunlight broke thru the dark clouds.  Mana tau this bunch of fellas thought I was shooting them and walked extra slow.  Hahaha... But ok also la it turns out to be.
I didnt aim for this.  I simply swing my camera to a low level and shoot.  So happy it turn out rather nicely :)
Still doing jumping shots after jumping for the past 24 hours.  Must be on sugar high... so much energy one meh?
While they busy jumping around for those photos, I happily queued up for my food.  Yummy!
Nom nom time!.... We had scones, sandwich, pies, cake and of course tea.  Quality of food, ok ok only la.  Environment wise, NICE!

That more or less wraps up our hunt.  Cause after this, my camera batt went flat and I left my spare ones in the car.  Waikong insisted that he is from the X-Generation and he don't need the extra exercise of walking all the way to the carpark ;p.  It began to rain too.  All prior plans of sight seeing aborted and we headed straight back for home.  :)

Seriously, I so love this treasure hunt experience.  Had such a great time.  I think 10% was from the hunt itself and remaining 90% was the company.  Made some new friends, strengthen old ones.  Our group were so 1Malaysia.  Chinese, Indian, Malay & lain-lain.  Perhaps our politicians should start salsa-ing.  For, SALSA UNITES!

Will I join again?  Can't wait! ;)
