Happy & Fun Evening (Again!)

It was Alina's birthday yesterday. Yeah, the husband's and the wife's birthdays are just few days apart. In return to the wonderful evening at Cafe Cafe few nights back, we invited the Fernandez for some seafood at Unique instead. The place was packed to the brim. If not for my boss, we probably would need to queue for table. He helped to rsvp a table for us thru one of his contacts. =)

We started off with tossing of the 'Yee Sang' to guarantee for a better year... new cars, new house, more business, more money, prettier, thinner.... lols.... We all had fun mumbling away, wishing for the sky, the stars, the moon.... hahahaha.... everything under the sky! Lols...

We ordered the few signature dishes of theirs - nai you har (buttered prawns)...

... kailan fried with kailan which apparently Mike can cook better than Unique. Cant wait to get invited to their crib for a makan session when the man cook... lols.

... and of course snow crab too. What is a seafood dinner without these yummilicious? We had them fried with salted egg... *salivating*

We also specially ordered a noodle dish for Alina. Birthday mah... must have noodle one. It signify longevity. If you ever in Unique, you must try this one. It is called "Seafood Yee Mee". Very yummy.

After dinner, don't know why these two husbands started comparing who has the most rotten ID card/credit cards/loyalty cards and started digging out all the cards they have. Too much seafood I think. Cant be the wine. We, the wives, shaked our heads and went... "so mempersiasuikan"...lols

After dinner, we adjourned back to the Fernandez' home to cut the cake. Wanted to do it at the restaurant. Wanted to sing loud loud but Alina quickly went like.... "no no no way.... bill bill bill...."... lols. Hahahahaha

Got her a mango mousse cake instead. The only non-cheese cake available from my favourite cake shop. Not that she dont like cheese. Just that, they still have the cheese cake from Mike's birthday. Better to have variety. Cheese cakes are yummy but too much of it can turn yucky.

This cute little thing is Bubbles, the miniature poodle they gotten for their daughter. Playful and naughty. According to Alina, sebiji macam Caitlin (her daughter). Lols... I've heard before people says dogs usually take after their owner's character. For example, Sunshine is very good nature like her owner, i.e. my plus one. And Rumba has a very kwailan attitude, just like me. :p Husky? Naughty like a monster. Like who I wonder?

After cutting the birthday cake, that's when all the craziness started. We all had so much fun playing away on the Wii especially the two husbands. Here Mike experimenting Yoga on the newly set up Wii Board... balancing his mind, soul, balls... ooppst...! What did I said?

After hula-ing for awhile, she got bored and decided to check out her presents. A very nice lilac coloured purse.

The guys decided to box away after that... we had so much fun laughing at their antics. It was like that la for the next hour.... boxing... tennis.... baseball... until sweating like pig. At least got sweat la... better than just hand eye coordination exercise.

Pssst: I had Mike 'KO' at boxing! Lols
