Xin Chào (Hello) from Saigon!

Touched down on Vietnam's soil 10:30am (11:30am our time) yesterday morning.  Lesson learnt so far:

Day 1
1) Thank you = Kam En
2) Pho = Vietnamese noodle.
3) To cross a busy street, instead of pedestrian bridge or traffic lights, they uses system 'angkat tangan'.
4) At BenThan market, slashed the price by 70% first.  Then only slowly let them bargain it back to 60-65%.
5) Vietnam Dong 1,000,000 = RM210.  100,000 = RM21, 10,000 = RM2.10
6) All cars are left-hand drive.
7) Plenty of beautiful tall trees.

Day 2
1) The 'Cu Chi' tunnel is very amazing.
2) The drivers here have fantastic driving skills.
3) Chinatown prices are more reasonable and they sells in bulk.
4) A stack of Vietnamese rice paper cost V$10,000 = RM2.10.
5) Though the products at the lacquer wares factory were really superb, the prices were equally superb.  I mean super expensive.

Ta ta for now!
